We set up the Wina z RPA campaign to promote South African wines in Poland. We prepared a yearly trade show and several smaller tastings and events throughout the year.
In 2017, 26 producers visited Warsaw to attend the trade show organised together with Wesgro and the South African Embassy in Warsaw. The show was hosted in the Intercontinental Hotel in Warsaw, starting with a Masterclass, followed by a trade tasting and a public tasting.

For I Vini del Piemont and Slow Wine first initiative in Korea, we prepared a trade show accompanied by masterclasses.
We complemented the trade show with a Korean website and the Slow Wine Guide's launch in Korean.

Together with the South African Embassy in Seoul, Espere organised the first South African wine tasting in Seoul.
We hosted the tasting in a unique location, a restaurant in an old Korean house.

We set up the Wina z RPA campaign to promote South African wines in Poland. We prepared a yearly trade show and several smaller tastings and events throughout the year.
In 2018, ten producers visited Warsaw to attend the trade show that was organised together with Wesgro. We set up the show as a full day of masterclasses led by South African winemakers and Polish wine professionals, with a complimentary tasting fair.
Leading up to the event, two of the winemakers, Reenen Borman and Gavin Bruwer, also recorded an episode for Pascal Brodnicki’s YouTube channel Tuba Smaku with 242K subscribers.

Sommerlier Masterclass, Seoul, 2018

Korean sommeliers rarely can visit vineyards and spend time in the cellar, especially far away places like South Africa.
To bridge this knowledge gap, Espere, together with five South African producers and Wine Vision (WSET school in Seoul), organised a masterclass with winemakers on a live link, talking about South African terroir.

Together with Soif d’ailleurs in Paris and Open Wine in Cape Town, Espere organised an intercontinental wine tasting to give the Parisian audience a closer connection to South African Wine.

Together with the Polish Sommelier Association and Winosfera, Espere organised a tasting focused on contemporary South African wine exclusively for sommeliers.
South African winemakers joined directly on a live link to taste and answer questions by the sommeliers.

Together with Wesgro, Espere organised a small, intimate trade tasting in Seoul linked to a trade visit to Korea that only took the producers to a fair outside Seoul.
